ABOUT ADSTUFF

 

Welcome to Adstuff, Fairfax New Zealand Limited's online classified booking system. For your convenience this system allows you to book classified advertising into both your newspaper and/or online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

All you need to do is follow our simple step by step booking process below and have your credit card handy for payment. Please note, we accept only MasterCard and Visa.

Adstuff offers a shopping basket service facility. Instead of having to conduct separate credit card transactions for each individual advertisement, you can simply add each booking to the shopping basket and the cost will automatically sub-total as you continue through the booking process.


PAYMENT & SECURITY

 

Please note all bookings require pre-payment via a credit card. For your peace of mind, when you place an order with Fairfax New Zealand Limited through the Adstuff web site, your information is transmitted over a secure server. Your online transactions with Adstuff automatically take place on a secure server. All information is encrypted before it is transmitted using SSL technology. Once your credit card is processed we do not retain your credit card number, an added measure of security for your credit information.


CANCELLATIONS, CREDITS & REFUNDS

 

In order to cancel an advertisement the advertiser must contact a newspaper prior to the booking deadline of your advertisement. You must also quote the booking reference number obtained upon confirmation from Adstuff when originally booking your advertisement. Please click here for a full list of contact numbers. Please note, whilst we can arrange for the cancellation of insertions, no refunds will be given.

In order to cancel an online advertisement, the advertiser must contact Fairfax Interactive on 0800 697 88 33 and select option 3. You must also quote the booking reference number obtained upon confirmation from Adstuff when originally booking your advertisements. Please note, whilst we can arrange for the cancellation of insertions, no refunds will be given.

If an ad does not publish or publish correctly the newspaper has the option of raising a credit, issuing a refund, or electing to re-run the ad correctly at an alternative date suitable to both parties. In the instance that a refund is agreed to, customers will need to provide newspapers with the following information:
 * The ad booking reference number
 * Insertion dates
 * Credit card number
 * Expiry date
 * Name of the credit card holder
 * Amount to be refunded
 * Reason for the credit
This information is provided on your Adstuff confirmation receipt, so please ensure you hold onto it. Receipt of the customers refunds will appear on the customers credit card statement.

Additionally we may refuse to publish, or withdraw your advertisement from publication without having to give a reason. Please note no refunds will be given in these circumstances. Please click here for a full list of contact numbers.


HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BOOK AN AD?

 
The cost of your print advertisement is entirely dependent on the type of ad and ad size you choose to select. The general rule of thumb is the bigger the ad, the higher the cost....but better the response! Please note the price of your newspaper ad booked on Adstuff may vary marginally from when booked via a telesales operator, email, fax or manual newspaper booking form.

ABBREVIATIONS

 

Only the standard abbreviations of each publication are accepted. If you are not sure whether an abbreviation is valid, we recommend spelling the word out in full or click here to refer to our acceptable abbreviations.
